Volunteer Application
We are really excited about your interest in serving alongside us!
Please fill out this Volunteer Application. The Volunteer Coordinator will send you an email once your application has been received. After your application has been approved we will contact you by phone to set up your first interview. We encourage you to keep a copy of your written answers from this application for future reference.
The application is divided into eight sections. Please read these instructions before you begin:
Contact Information – Enter your contact information.
Volunteer Positions – Indicate the volunteer position(s) you would like to apply for. Please be sure you have read and understood the responsibilities associated with them before submitting an application. If needed, please contact us to request that information or to talk with someone about any questions you may have.
Questionnaire – Share some brief thoughts with us about yourself and about your desire to be involved in this ministry. Do not feel the need to fully represent your value as an applicant at this stage of the volunteer process. These are only a few preliminary questions to set the stage for an interview.
Accomplishments – Tell us about things you have done that would enhance your ability to serve alongside us.
Accountability – This part of the application contains some very candid questions about personal matters. Please err on the side of transparency when answering them. In a ministry that takes on a serious responsibility to parents to provide a safe environment in a culture such as ours it is necessary for us confront these sensitive issues. Giving an account for these kinds of struggles or sinful decisions will not automatically disqualify you. We firmly believe in the grace of God and the regeneration of sinful people. Our objective is not to stir up self-condemnation or discourage well-meaning, redeemed individuals from pursuing this ministry opportunity. If you feel more comfortable, you may indicate that you would rather discuss these questions later during your interview with a ministry staff member.
Confirmations – Affirm a few statements regarding your participation in this ministry.
References – Provide us with three non-family references we may interview about your character and suitability for the position(s) you are applying for—please select people who know you well enough to do so. We would like one of these references to be someone serving in a Christian ministry (such as a pastor or ministry leader).
Legal Agreement – We wish the tone of these statements better captured our heartfelt desire to responsibility select the kind of volunteers that the Lord has in mind, but for legal reasons we must phrase them in this manner.
